The short version is the whole version.
App data follows the kind of app you open. Single-device apps keep their data in your browser. Apps described as shared sync the content people enter through our hosted database so collaborators can see and update the same board, list, or schedule. We do not sell that content or use it for advertising. Do not put sensitive personal, medical, financial, or account information into a shared app.
Requesting an app is the one thing we keep. When you submit an idea we hold: the idea itself, your first name and last initial, your city and state (they credit you publicly on the build, exactly as you typed them), and your email. Email is used for the 6-digit confirmation code and status updates about your idea — being built, built — and for nothing else. Never sold, never shared, no marketing lists.
Counting, not tracking. We count events (page views, submissions) without cookies, fingerprinting, or third-party scripts. We can tell how many; we can't tell who.
Use an app’s own controls to remove shared content. Want your request and email deleted, or need help removing shared content? Reply to any code or status email and say so.
